I love seeing the texture of your skin and you have a gorgeous figure; to me that makes it a more "honest" photo -as far as your natural beauty is concerned- though I'm not a big fan of manipulating a photo after it has been taken, I truly do like this one. I'm wondering though, and pardon my asking but I can't help being/feeling honest about it but it looks to me like a little part of this photo was "darkened" out a bit more than what the original may look like. Sorry but that's the only "imperfection" for me about this photo.
I'm glad to read no part of your body was altered -that is the most important part, at least for me. I'm just letting you know my perspective -I'm no authority on photography, I'm only expressing what I like.
I do not think I said your image was dishonest in any way, I'm only saying that for my personal preference, I favor more photos that have less, say ... "photoshopping" for example. I've heard photographers say things like: If you have a scar or "blemishes" -we can blurr them out" -personally, I prefer seeing a scar in a model's body -or the actual texture of her skin -even if she has had, even, an allergic reaction in her past which may have caused for her to permanently have a "scar" (that is just an example). I see more beauty in a photo when it is not so manipulated because it allows for me to admire the model in her raw, natural beauty.
I hope you can understand me. I say all of this in good faith, I'm not trying to be a jerk or a wise-ass. I think you're beautiful and you have a top-notch beautiful body; which me or any girl would be envious to have so ... like I said I'm only letting you know how I see art -not because I'm some kind of "important" person but only because I love your figure and I was only giving you my feedback on some of your photos.
Oh, sorry. I think you misunderstood my tone I wasn't upset in any way - I just come off kind of dry in my tone when I discuss back... didn't mean to come off as irritated at all.
Anyways, I get what you're saying and agree for the most part. Every single body is beautiful and should be lauded in its entirety... not manipulated to fit some kind of standard - at least that is my belief for art nudes. Other genres I am more flexible with personally speaking They all have their goals and purposes...
It's all good, no problem at all. I'm glad that none of my commentary was taken negatively.
I'm glad you agree with much of what I have to say and I will agree with you as well where we slightly differ where you mention that there are other genres where "manipulation" may come in more handy and I totally agree with you no this. Thank you for your good and insightful replies.
